Basseterre, St. Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) regrets to inform the general public of a service interruption affecting Sandy Point on Friday, February 27, 2026.
WSD officials say that the interruption is necessary to accommodate critical repairs to a 4-inch water main.
At 8 a.m. on Monday, officials indicated that water service was expected to be restored by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27.Â
The Department is asking all customers impacted by the interruption to visit the official WSD channels, including this one, for updates. Visit mopieudt.gov.kn and water.gov.kn, or follow the WSD on Facebook for more information.
The WSD sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause and assures all affected customers that the Department remains committed to restoring service as swiftly as possible.
