Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The team at the Water Services Department (WSD) will continue its work to maintain and upgrade water service infrastructure by engaging in multiple activities around the island on Tuesday, July 1, 2025:
- Chlorinate the water islandwide.
- Landscape the grounds of the United Arab Emirates (UAE-sponsored) Desalination plant at Canada Industrial Estate.
- Clean the Lodge intake.
- Repair pipes in Dieppe Bay, St. Pauls, Sandy Point, and George Street.
As a consequence of the WSD’s activity, customers in some locations may lose service temporarily. The WSD sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
If the WSD encounters any issue that requires extending a service interruption, it will issue a notice via the websites mopieudt.gov.kn and water.gov.kn. Customers may also visit the WSD on Facebook for updates.
The WSD reminds customers that they may report service interruptions to an agent by calling the hotline at 662-4307.
